Sometimes to see others earning good money, many others also try to do the same job. But getting success is not easy.
I will mention these 10 mistakes —
1. WRONG SELECTION of TOPIC —
Select a field/ a topic, suppose- technology, beauty, gardening, relationship, fashion, mobile, camera, clothing, health whatever you like just focus on a single topic. You can perform better if your interest is strong enough.
You can opt for any niche but create a separate website, never mingle 2 or more topics on a single website. Otherwise, it will affect your ranking on Google search.
2. UNRELEVANT THEME-
A good theme plays a vital role in attracting readers. Your theme should reflect your topic. If you place the wrong and irrelevant theme then it will distract the readers. Never select only good looking images but keep the images that tell the story of your blog.
Select the fast uploading theme. If your website takes time in uploading. It leaves a bad impact.
3. PROPER SEO-
Blogging is not essay writing. The Internet is a different place and blogging is a professional platform.
Learning SEO is very necessary. Follow the SEO parameters, whatever if google doesn’t recognize your blogs, and if your blogs don’t come on the top then who will read. You must learn it.
4. LACK OF IDEAS-
Some bloggers start with great energy. They will write some topics with their idea. What will happen after 15 topics, one day, your ideas will run out and you may lose your interest in writing blogs. Now you may be delaying posting blogs. Your enthusiasm will end. Therefore, you must focus on continuous ideas so that you can write for about 1 year. Post 2–3 different blogs every week.
5. SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA-
Social media is a good platform. Don’t hesitate that you are a new blogger. Share your link on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube, etc. You can create a YouTube channel. It’s easy and free, just create a channel and say your friends and family members to share links. This will attract traffic to your website.
Do yourself a personal branding. Build your trust in the audience. When your blog is helping to get a solution, people see your blogs and you really give them good information. They will surely visit your blogs and recommend your website.
6. INTERLINKING in your blogs-
A new blogger has less knowledge of technical tools. Some technical knowledge is necessary about the tools that which tool should be good for your blogs. Learn to add ‘links’ to your previous blogs. When any new person comes to your blog page, then he will be able to see your previous articles as well. You can request them to leave a comment. You can advise the reader to read your previous blog, this will create interest in your other topics.
7. NO IMAGE USE-
A picture can describe the whole story. If your article doesn’t have any images. It will not leave a good impact on the readers. Without images, your blog may look just a bundle of some words. Be careful, don’t use copyright images.
I suggest some websites like pixabay.com, pexels.com, unsplash.com. Collect free images from here.
Don’t link so many YouTube video links to your blog.
8. SHORT WRITING Less Explanation-
Bloggers start with full energy after some days the zeal fizzles out and later they lose their interest in writing. They try to find out some easy tricks and use short writing with improper images.
Improper writing is not good. When any reader comes on your blog, he wants to get good information. A solution of his problem.
Use subtitles and add a striking heading. Never do short-writing. Write in detail and use point to point so that the readers stay longer on your page. Try to write more than 1000 words and give proper information. It will help to build your trust.
9. PROPER FORMATTING-
Proper formatting gives a good appearance to your writing. Always place a good headline and subheadlines, paragraph setting. Use small paragraphs of approx 250 words. In some gaps, use proper images and must give the credit to the websites (You collect images).
Use featured image also it tells the whole story about your topic.
Use of one language, don’t mix language if you write in English then only English. Always opt for a single niche and write blogs related to that niche.
10. REPLYING COMMENT-
A comment can give you more ideas, the people write what they like or dislike. In this way, you can understand the trending ideas in the mind of your audience.
This means you get the next idea. You can create something new and make many more videos.
When you reply to any comment, the reader likes it and he creates a bond with you and comes back on your blog to read more topics.
